Rafting
In immediate vicinity of the HOC Bjelolasica, lovers of white water rivers will be able to enjoy in the environment of untouched waters which offer a unique pleasure to its visitors. Rafting will take you into an unforgettable adventure with expert guidance of skippers on rivers Dobra, Mrežnica and Kupa, pearls of the region of Gorski Kotar. Those who are not so brave may enjoy driving in canoe on peaceful courses of these rivers and in the Sabljaci Lake, popularly called the Ogulin Sea.
Mountain biking
The surroundings of the HOC Bjelolasica are an inexhaustible source for enjoying mountain biking. More than 300 kilometres of attractive forest paths and roads are adapted to all age groups and capabilities, from recreationalists to professional sportsmen. With precise geographic maps, written instructions, marked biking paths and advice from expert guides, you will be able to choose your own adventure and step into a labyrinth of beautiful afforested paths during spring, summer or fall. Climbing
Surely one of the most beautiful experiences is to visit Kula - the peak of Bjelolasica, and at the same time the highest peak in Gorski Kotar and Samarske and Bijele Stijene (Rocks), protected nature reserves. All mountain destinations are on only at 3 - 6 hours walking distance from Bjelolasica. Apart from walking through mountain paths, it may also be reached by car. In that case, you will reach the peak and mountain lodge in less than an hour. Every mountain has its own mountain lodge which is usually located on an idyllic spot. A special position on a geographic map belongs to Klek, cradle of Croatian alpinism, mountain which offers a magnificent view of the town of Ogulin and the whole surrounding area of the HOC Bjelolasica. Very precise geographic maps and instructions of mountain guides may be found at the reception of the Bjelolasica Hotel Complex.
Walking
Lovers of walking will enjoy walking in the vicinity of the HOC Bjelolasica, on marked paths with natural sights. You can choose your own walking route and spend pleasant moments in idyllic landscape. We recommend all our guests, notably children and elder persons, to take walks,. Due to attractive landscape, even a short walk can turn into an adventure.
Alpinism
Only the greatest climbers may have the pleasure of climbing the heights of vertical mountains. The Klek Mountain, cradle of Croatian alpinism, thrills again and again by challenges and possibilities it offers to alpinists in overcoming obstacles. As Klek may be climbed only by professional climbers, the HOC Bjelolasica, in a wish to offer its guests new experiences, organises one-day trips and two-day courses of climbing and alpinism in which beginners, completely safe and accompanied by expert mountain guides and instructors, will be able to learn the basics of this attractive and beautiful sport.
Hunting tourism
In the wider region of Bjelolasica, there are three hunting grounds - Karlovac, Ogulin and Delnice - where hunters and fishermen may find, at specific times during the year - real oasis for enjoying these attractive sports. To fishermen, we recommend Lake Sabljaci near Ogulin and rivers Mrežnica and Dobra.
